Led by longtime Arts and Crafts Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, campers will spend half their day exploring the world of art through a variety of scientific methods and natural mediums. The remainder of the day will be spent with our J Camps specialists in favorite camp activities.

Join J Camps and The Science Guys of Baltimore for two weeks of science fun!
Pre-Week 2: Galactic Adventures (Grades K-2)
Aspiring astronauts and space enthusiasts are invited to embark on an out-of-this-world journey with The Science Guys of Baltimore. Campers will explore the wonders of the cosmos, build and launch multiple rockets, and learn about the planets, stars, and galaxies that fill our universe.
Pre-Week 2: Life Under A Microscope: Biology Camp (Grades 3-6)
Budding scientists are invited to explore biology from the smallest cell to the largest ecosystems on Earth. Led by The Science Guys of Baltimore, campers will conduct hands-on experiments to uncover the secrets of life. From examining microorganisms to understanding animal behavior, our inspiring instructors will ignite a passion for the natural world.
Post-Week 1: Welcome to the Food Lab: Kitchen Chemistry Camp (Grades K-2)
Calling all budding chefs and young scientists! Join The Science Guys of Baltimore for a deliciously educational experience at our Kitchen Chemistry-themed Summer Camp. Campers will don their aprons and safety goggles as they explore the chemistry behind cooking. From chemical reactions to the mysteries of fermentation, kids will mix, measure, and experiment their way to becoming kitchen chemists. *All ingredients are Kosher certified
Post-Week 1: Exploring Our Environment: Ecology Camp (Grades 3-6)
Campers will explore the wonders of the natural world and learn how to become stewards of our planet with The Science Guys of Baltimore. Campers will dive into exciting outdoor activities, wildlife discovery, and hands-on experiments that highlight the importance of protecting the environment. We’ll study plants and animals from every land and aquatic ecosystem, and our knowledgeable instructors will inspire a love for nature and conservation.
Post-Week 2: LEGO® Wildlife Adventures (Grades K-2)
Spend half the day with Play-Well Teknologies. Design and build your way through the animal kingdom, from sea to safari, using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. With the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor, you’ll recreate diverse habitats while crafting animals in their natural surroundings. Your animal adventure awaits! The other half of they day will be spent in J Camps activities.
Post-Week 2: LEGO® Jurassic Engineering (Grades 3-6)
Dive into the world of dinosaurs through the lens of engineering and science in this immersive LEGO®-powered STEM course! Guided by expert Play-Well instructors, students will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to design and build secure habitats for herbivorous dinosaurs and go on expeditions to discover elusive species. This course challenges students to collaborate, innovate, and deepen their understanding of biology, engineering, and prehistoric ecosystems, all while bringing the Jurassic world to life, brick by brick.
